Sorry to announce that the 27th/28th July gigs at the open air Worthing Lido have just been cancelled due to problems with the Public Liability insurance.
As you may or may not know, the cost for this kind of event insurance has spiralled out of all reason in the last couple of years in the UK, at the same time as it has become illegal to hold events without it.
Upside Promotions have promised to try to make it happen next year.
But in the meantime, this is another sad example of insurance companies and lawyers: 1, music lovers: nil...
